We're seeking interested candidates to perform roadway engineering and project management tasks. The candidate will develop concepts, preliminary engineering and final design for projects including, but not limited to, developing geometric alignments, profiles, modeling, design sections, grading design, drainage, construction details, traffic signal plans, and signing and striping plans.Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering- E.I.T desired or ability to obtain within 6 months- 1+ years of experience with roadway/highway design- Well rounded Engineering experience preferred within municipal, site development, stormwater, etc. - Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners including clients, sub consultants, and utility companies- Experience preparing final design plans, specifications and construction cost estimates- Good problem solving and technical writing skills- AutoCAD Civil3d experience required- Proficiency with Microstation and/or Inroads a plus- Strong computer skills within Microsoft Suite of products, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.

Position Description:Our Richmond, VA office is seeking a Civil Engineering Analyst to work on Land Development engineering projects.  Candidates should have experience with site civil design and permitting and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.  Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.  In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications.Position Requirements:- BS degree in Civil Engineering- EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months- 1+ years of relevant land development engineering experience - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills - Outstanding organizational skills- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3DDesired Qualifications:- Experience with detail site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design- Experience with StormCAD, Hydroflow, ICPR and other industry accepted software and development of hydrology studies- Experience with codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing stormwater facilities, site grading and permitting for land disturbance
