As an Aviation Civil Engineer, you will support the planning, design and construction of airport projects; prepare analyses and reports for on-going projects; prepare plans and specifications; mentor and coordinate the work of analysts and other technical staff and manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance. Requirements- Minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience, preferably airside- Must be a professionally registered engineer- Familiarity with contract document preparation and cost estimating- Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering Briefs- Familiarity with pavement design and FAARField Design Software- Experience with construction phase services and construction phasing and sequencing- Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation experience- Experience with modeling of aircraft and vehicle turning movement simulations in AeroTURN, AutoTURN, Path Planner, and/or AviPLAN- Ability to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staff- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
