As a critical member of the Energy/Solar team, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced Professional Engineer to help serve and grow our power utility and energy developer clients in an integrated manner. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a broad understanding of engineering, design, and specifications of power systems for utility transmission and distribution projects. Focused experience with power delivery design is preferred, but a diverse understanding of; grid integration; high voltage substations and transmission lines; medium voltage utility distribution systems; SCADA; and low voltage industrial and commercial distribution systems is highly desired.
