By joining Kimley-Horn, you’ll be joining a firm whose core values and core purpose are more than just words on paper—they form the basis of a culture that has yielded success since 1967. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations (TPTO) team in our Boise office. The Traffic Engineer will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients. Typical projects may include traffic operations analyses, safety analyses, traffic impact studies, traffic signal coordination and timing, traffic signal design, transportation planning studies, multimodal transportation planning and design, parking analyses, ITS planning and design, and other transportation projects.  The Traffic Engineer will work collaboratively with our growing team of transportation professionals by actively participating in task management, problem solving, marketing, and client interaction. You will have many opportunities for training and growth while also contributing to the growth of our junior-level staff. The Traffic Engineer will be mentored and trained to manage their own projects and develop consulting and business skills to help pursue your own passions, leads, and clients. Salary Range: $70,000-105,000 annually + Annual Performance Bonus
