Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer to join our Woodlands, TX office.As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks, supervise team members, manage projects, and collaborate with team members. You will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. Our Energy team works on projects including:- Pipeline Design- Solar site Design- Natural Gas Metering and Regulation Stations- Pipeline Integrity Management- Natural Gas Compressor Stations- Control Design and Integration- Client ManagementRequirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering- Minimum 3 years of applicable work experience strongly preferred- Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GISDesired Qualifications:- Knowledge of CFR 49 Part 190-195- Knowledge of natural gas systems, solar industry and processes
