Overview

Our Birmingham office is looking for a Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing municipal water/wastewater practice!

Responsibilities

The person hired for this role will be responsible for designing utilities, pumping systems and treatment facilities along with various other tasks to support our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for managing project tasks, budgets, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Degree; focus in Water/Wastewater preferred.
  • Ability to obtain their P.E. license within 18 months of employment (or already have it).
  • Experience in Autocad Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
  • Revit experience is plus.
  • Strong sense of self-initiative to find unique solutions while meeting client deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to mentor and train younger staff
