Financial Analyst

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an energetic, team-oriented Financial Analyst to join the corporate Finance and Accounting team our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

This is an in-office position.

• Support annual financial statement review, incurred cost submission audit, and business plan processes through preparation and/or review of analyses and workpapers and coordination with auditors
• Partner with internal functions to analyze current month activity against approved budgets, assessing impact on projected annual profitability
• Respond to analysis requests from internal stakeholders, including marketing, production, and executive leadership
• Preparation of monthly financial reports, responding to related inquiries
• Assist with special projects among various teams nationwide 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA
• 3 or more years of relevant experience, preferrably in Public Accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
• High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives
• Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
• Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently

Office hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30am – 11:30am Friday.
