CADD Technician/Designer - Roadway

Our Warrenville, IL office is looking for a CADD Technician/Designer with 3 or more years of experience to join our Roadway Design team.

The candidate will develop concepts as well as work on preliminary engineering and final design for projects. This would include developing geometric alignments, profiles, surface modeling, cross sections, grading design, drainage, superelevation, construction details, work zone traffic control, erosion control, and signing and striping plans.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Open Roads and Microstation
• 3 or more years relevant design experience with a civil engineering consulting firm
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team
