Senior Transit Planner

  • 8+  years of transit or transportation planning experience 
  • BS degree from an accredited university in the field of Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Geography
  • MS in Transportation or Urban Planning a plus or similar related field
  • Technical skills in transit/transportation or urban planning 
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (we can’t forget the basics),
  • Knowledge and experience preparing technical reports related to rail, planning, environmental impacts, community plans, corridor studies, design guidelines, etc.  
  • Experience communicating and working with clients
  • Rail operations planning experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Outgoing, self-motivated team player
  • Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects and project managers
  • Prior experience with rail transit agencies, program management, rail operations, station area planning
  • Mentorship as well as providing direction to entry-level Transportation Analysts

Salary Range:

  • $80,000- $100,000
