Overview

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and grow our Roadway Design practice in Riverside, CA.  

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, business development, client contact, and the growth of the roadway design practice in the Inland Empire and surrounding markets. Additional activities include managing the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issues, partnership with fellow practice builders, client engagement and overall project over site.  With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of performance based bonus incentives with the opportunity to advance to ownership. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California
  • Experience successfully winning and delivering work in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas
  • Knowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projects from studies to environmental to PS&E or final design packages and general knowledge of construction
  • Established relationships with Caltrans, local agencies, and/or local municipalities
  • 15+ years of experience leading civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchanges
  • Demonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholders
  • Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work

Base Salary Range: 

  • $140,000 - $195,000
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
