Kimley-Horn is in search of a Senior Landscape Architect to market, win work, and serve clients in the Charlotte market and other parts of North Carolina.
The Senior Landscape Architect will have an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to create a growth vision for their practice and will contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture team. This person will partner with other practice builders in the office leading business development efforts with public and private sector clients, architects and developers and manage the relationship with these key clients. Markets are not limited by geography but are driven by relationships.
Additional responsibilities will include: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for growth of personal practice; support the marketing efforts of internal partners; Work directly with clients to develop plans, manage design/entitlements process, and lead production efforts; Manage project financials and design teams; Mentor project managers and young professionals; Provide design, project management and task management leadership to the team.
The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business. Accounting, administrative, marketing, recruiting, IT and production support will be provided.
