Overview

Kimley-Horn's Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is looking for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Renewable Energy practice in Denver, Colorado (CO)!

Responsibilities

  • The qualified individual will lead a Renewable Energy team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
  • Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that project needs and objectives are met.
  • Leadership responsibilities include:
    • Operating with integrity and sound business principles
    • Providing vision, business planning and strategy
    • Establishing goals
    • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
    • Having open communication with your partners and team
    • Growing and leading a structural engineering practice
  • Our Project Managers/Emerging Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor.
  • The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business.
  • With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience managing renewable energy or related projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for energy projects
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local developers, EPCs, planners and/or land owners
  • Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

Salary Range:

  •  $147,000 - $160,000
  • Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
