Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering students to join our Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site identification, evaluation, and preliminary research for new wireless communication facilities
  • Support coordination with internal teams (engineering, project management, and legal) to learn zoning and permitting requirements
  • Help prepare and organize documentation related to leases, easements, and site agreements
  • Participate in site visits and assist with due diligence activities as needed
  • Maintain organized project records and track basic site acquisition data
  • Provide general project and administrative support to the site acquisition team

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, engineering, geography, business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in telecommunications, land use, or infrastructure development
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a professional team environment
