Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering graduates with an interest in managing large-scale national programs to join our Alpharetta, GA office in 2026! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management for a Fortune 50 national client to deliver new retail developments across the country from concept through construction.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering efforts, including design, planning, due diligence, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects of varying size and scope.
  • Coordinate with internal partners, external consultants, and clients to align on project expectations, schedules, and permitting processes.
  • Prepare site plans and exhibits in accordance with client requirements and local jurisdiction standards.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines and offices to develop, permit, and construct new stores nationwide as part of the clients’ vision.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations across the U.S., as well as Kimley-Horn’s and the client’s best practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Analysts will gain proficiency in software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MS Project, and/or GIS.

Qualifications

  • An ABET accredited engineering or other professional degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025 in one of the following majors:
    • Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
    • Engineering Technology
    • Construction Management
    • Landscape Architecture
    • City Planning
