Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Human Resources Systems Specialist to join our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office on the HR team! This is not a remote position. This position will serve as an administrator and subject matter resource for the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other HR systems. The ideal candidate brings task management experience and a passion for process improvement and systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for LMS troubleshooting, including access issues, reporting questions, learner support, and technical problem resolution 
  • Build, configure, test, and maintain courses and curricula, ensuring quality control and accurate setup 
  • Manage course and curriculum assignment logic, automated notifications, and reporting
  • Partner with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Instructional Designers to support course launches and updates 
  • Analyze LMS usage and reporting data to identify trends and improve the learner experience 
  • Maintain system governance, documentation, resource materials, and process guides related to the LMS
  • Manage and resolve HR Helpdesk tickets related to the LMS and other HR systems
  • Assist with UKG projects and cross-system initiatives as needed, providing backup support across HR systems
  • Partner with regional HR teams to gather feedback, answer questions, and identify system and process improvement opportunities 
  • Support broader initiatives related to compliance, safety, and other firmwide programs 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1 year or more of Human Resources or systems experience (preferred) 
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent task management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to proactively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to create structure and maintain organized processes 
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and working within HR systems 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Travel Requirements 
  • Occasional travel

Office hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30am – 11:30am Friday.
