Overview

Our Orange office is looking for a Sr. Survey Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our Survey team!

Responsibilities

  • Conducts boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.
  • Prepares accurate and detailed survey maps and plats.
  • Utilizes advanced survey equipment and software for data collection, analysis, and mapping.
  • Coordinates with project teams to ensure survey tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Interprets and verifies the accuracy of survey data and legal descriptions.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies in survey information.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in survey design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other survey-related software.
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law and legal aspects of surveying.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
  • Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Willingness to mentor and teach others
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter

Salary Range:

$110,000 to $130,000
