Overview

Kimley-Horn's Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Survey Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join their Survey team. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze geospatial and LiDAR datasets and extract features in accordance with ASPRS accuracy guidelines
  • Serve as a key contributor in LiDAR point cloud extraction, 3D modeling, and corridor drafting
  • Produce topographic maps and various survey exhibits using TopoDOT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other CAD/geospatial platforms
  • Translate field data (point files, sketches, and photographs) into high-accuracy base mapping
  • Support project managers with estimates and special deliverables
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and train technicians in survey geospatial workflows
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure all work meets Kimley-Horn protocols and client expectations

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree and/or 32 hours of survey related courses
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D
  • Prior relevant experience
  • Strong communication and technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
