Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET C# Developer with extensive knowledge in civil engineering related software for our St. Paul, MN office. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in developing and implementing software solutions that enhance efficiency in transportation, site design, energy fields, healthcare, and other engineering and planning disciplines to ensure quality and generate analytics in our projects.

 

This is not a remote or hybrid role. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and business partners to determine project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needs
• Develop and maintain custom software applications using .NET C# for civil design software
• Enhance existing software systems to improve functionality and user experience
• Quickly evaluate bugs and apply hot fixes to resolve issues
• Utilize Agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of software projects
• Stay updated on new and innovative development technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7+ years of experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET and desktop programming
• Proficiency in using software development tools, such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team building skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing software solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity in civil engineering projects
• Ability to absorb new concepts quickly and a willingness to learn the basics of the civil engineering industry
• Knowledge of civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and ESRI ArcGIS is preferred
• Familiarity with database management systems, such as SQL Server and Oracle, is a plus
• Experience in web development using Python and JavaScript is a plus
