Overview

Our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is looking for an Aviation Planner with 1+ years of experience to join our Aviation team. This is not a remote position.

 

The Aviation Planning Team primarily works on Statewide Aviation System Plans, Economic Impact Studies at the state and local level, land use studies, and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning activities, such as survey development and data collection, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and synthesis, document development and technical writing
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
  • Coordinate internally with other team members, including project accountants, graphic designers, and more
  • Prepare planning and land use studies
  • Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies
  • Gain exposure to diverse project experiences as we provide services to both the public and private sectors

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a Planner:  
    • City and Regional Planning 
    • Urban Planning
    • Transportation Planning  
    • Or Other Related Major
  • An Aviation Management, Planning, or related degree from an accredited program
  • Working knowledge of the airport environment preferred

Salary Range:

  • $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
  • Eligible for Performance Based Bonuses
