IT Infrastructure Professional

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Experienced IT Infrastructure Professional to join us in our Phoenix, AZ office! This is a full time in-office position. 

We are searching for a creative, self-starting professional to provide support for our enterprise systems. This individual would be responsible for the operations of our existing IT infrastructure as well as ensuring we support the company’s future IT needs relative to strategy and growth. This position requires an experienced technical expert on infrastructure projects in relation to storage, virtualization, data protection, and cloud services. The qualified candidate will have a demonstrated ability of providing creative solutions for complex challenges, has a proactive mindset, and demonstrates their passion in providing exceptional client service.

• Operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects specifically around Datacenter Management, Storage, Vmware Virtual Machines/VDI, Cloud Services, Monitoring, File Services, Data Protection, and DR
• Provide performance analysis and optimization, problem resolution, upgrade planning, and documentation
• Design and develop high performance, highly available systems
• Help resolve complex IT issues in a Tier 3 capacity
• Lead and Mentor junior members of the team
• Run daily IT infrastructure operations to ensure high availability and proactive event and problem management
• Engage with business stakeholders to proactively develop solutions to help them be more productive
• Manage a portfolio of technology projects which support present and future business goals
• Continuously looks for areas of potential process improvement, ability to make a business case, and implement

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or its equivalent is preferred
• 5+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments
• Pure Storage, or other enterprise storage administration
• Proven project management experience
• Extensive experience in the support of mission-critical enterprise services
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proven record of exceptional project management and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed troubleshooting skillset
• Ability to multitask between the support of existing technologies and evaluation/deployment of new services to support business technology needs
