Technology Solutions Specialist - Transportation Planning and Design

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative individual to join our team as a Technology Solutions Specialist, specializing in transportation planning and design. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technology solutions specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of transportation planning and design projects throughout the country.

• Design and develop technology solutions for transportation planning and design projects throughout the country
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices
• Lead design and planning tasks for roadways and bridge improvement projects, applying your deep understanding of transportation planning and design principles in this region.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle, while considering the unique characteristics of the changing transportation industry.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in transportation planning and design, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage these advancements in your solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing support and guidance to colleagues and clients on technology-related matters in transportation planning and design 
• Apply your digital delivery experience to streamline project workflows and enhance collaboration among project teams, utilizing tools and platforms to facilitate efficient communication and document sharing.

• 20+ years of experience in technology and software development, with relevant experience in the transportation industry.
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining technology solutions for transportation planning and design projects
• Extensive experience in leading design and planning tasks for roadways and bridge improvement projects
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning and design principles, standards, and regulations
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a history of successfully founding and leading software companies in the transportation industry.
• Experience with secure signing and sealing solutions for engineers delivering 3D models and contract documents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in road design is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation Range: 

• $130k-$160k
• Eligbile for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
