Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a dynamic and energetic Benefits Manager based in our Raleigh, NC office. NOT REMOTE This role will manage the firm's employee benefit program.

Responsibilities

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing the company's employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and employee relocations. The Benefits Manager will supervise a team of benefits staff administering the benefit programs as well as leave of absence, disability, and ADA accommodations. The manager will work closely with company leadership to review and recommend enhancements to programs.

 

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the company's employee benefits program, including enrollment, payroll deductions, and communications with employees and vendors.
  • Supervise a team of benefits staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed.
  • Oversee team that manages leave of absence and ADA accommodations assuring compliance with state and federal leave laws.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the company's benefits program, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and consultants.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the company's benefits program to ensure that it remains competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide training and support to human resources and employees regarding the company's benefits program.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments related to employee benefits and make recommendations to company leadership as appropriate.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing a team of benefits staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
